Boston Chapter of Association of Litigation Support Professionals Founded

Linguistic Systems, Inc. (LSI) partnered with Association of Litigation Support Professionals (ALSP) members from Huron Consulting and Merrill Legal Solutions to found a Boston chapter. With 41 years of experience working for attorneys and thousands of jobs completed, LSI has a well known reputation for accurate translation of high volume under tight deadlines. For litigation eDiscovery, LSI linguist review has become a high demand service to analyze foreign language data for litigation support professionals. The chapter will meet regularly to address education and certification standards issues as well as provide a networking resource for members. The inaugural meeting on May 20, 2008 was attended by 35 individuals representing corporations, law firms and vendors. A steering committee has been formed and the first panel discussion lunch is planned for September 10, 2008 with a topic of internal buy-in by firms and corporations of litigation support technology.
