 LSI Foundation to provide translation and interpreting services to charitable causes

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – February 2, 2010 –

Linguistic Systems, Inc.(LSI), a leading provider of language translation services, today announced the formation of the LSI Foundation. The Foundation is an incorporated non-profit foundation in Massachusetts, capitalized at $1,000,000, to perform translations, interpreting, and related language services for charitable and educational purposes.

Linguistic Systems is a 43 year old company with a long history of donating its services for pro bono legal cases and volunteering for humanitarian translation projects. Recognizing an increased need for translation and interpreting among communities, LSI is taking their charitable work to a higher level. The company has donated $1,000,000 for start-up and development of the LSI Foundation, and to provide support services for translators and interpreters throughout the world who would like to contribute their services to worthy causes. Working with a collaborative platform and state-of-the-art systems, the Foundation expects to leverage its resources to gain the maximum benefit for a diversity of charitable causes.
