How many names should be investigated?

A minimum of two names is suggested, with four or five being the optimum. That way you're almost certain to have at least one name that would be safe for all your target markets. It is sensible to reduce a long list of names that are being considered to no more than 10 favorites. Always perform the trademark/copyright check before the linguistic analysis.

Does Linguistic Systems, Inc. have language limitations?

Our company has worked in more than 115 languages for over 100 regions/countries. This is generally sufficient to cover all requests, but we are always open to new challenges if the need is not super-urgent.

Can the analysis be performed in three days?

No! It usually takes a day to gather and summarize the information about your company, identify the most appropriate analysts, and assign the job. Each of the analysts requires at least 48 hours, and then the individual analyses must be edited and the information from them gleaned and organized into a comprehensive summary. For a relatively small job (two names, 10-12 countries) we can provide a complete analysis in one week; larger jobs take 2-3 weeks, but we can deliver the individual analyses as they are completed.
